CAM IBR SURVEILLANCE DISCUSSIONS DVD

The simulated Control Account Manager (CAM) Discussion is representative of a typical review by a CAM during an Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) or a typical Surveillance Visit of the documentation in a well constructed, tabbed CAM Notebook. It focuses on the CAM's use and understanding of the company's Earned Value Management System with very detailed examples. The discussion covers all nine processes of the company's EVM system as it pertains to a Control Account Manager.

During the discussion, the customer's representative asks detailed EVMS questions that require the CAM to illustrate each feature of the specific sub-system; such as Work Authorization/Budget Trace or EV performance data and resultant Variance Analysis, to clearly show use and understanding of the specific system process, schedules, reports, and/or other pertinent documentation.

The DVD portrays how a well prepared CAM should undertake the discussion for a successful Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) activity and/or for routine EVMS Surveillance Review/Visit activity. The DVD also illustrates the proper way for a customer's IBR Discussion leader, or a Surveillance Review Discussion leader to conduct the session.

The DVD contains a brief recap following each subsystem discussion to highlight the technical points made, any applicable follow-up action recommended, and other observations. It is a must for those who anticipate an IBR or an EVMS Surveillance Review.
