FAA Earned Value Management System Acceptance Guide

FAA Earned Value Management System Acceptance Guide – dated April 2017

Systems Acceptance is a formal process that involves the reviewing, validating and certifying of the design and implementation of an Earned Value Management System (EVMS) that meets the requirements of the 32 EVMS Guidelines in the EIA-748 Standard for Earned Value Management Systems.

This guide establishes the process and provide guidance for the review, validation and formal acceptance of EVM Systems the FAA depends upon to plan, manage, control, and report performance of capital investment programs. The goal of the EVMS System Acceptance process and the related EVMS Surveillance process is to ensure the integrity of program management systems and the reported performance data used by the FAA and suppliers.
