EVMS Center Business Practice 2: EVM System Description Review - dated 30 May 2022
DCMA Business Practice (BP) 2 defines the process for EVMS Center personnel to conduct a review of a contractor’s EVM Systems Description (SD) and all related EVMS descriptive documents to ensure compliance with the EIA-748 EVMS Standard. This includes conducting an initial review of the contractor’s EVM SD and related documents as well as conducting a change review when a contractor updates their descriptive documents. The DCMA team members conduct a process evaluation of the contractor’s EVM SD and all related procedures using their EVMS Cross Reference Checklist (CRC) organized by the EIA-748 guidelines. The line items in this checklist reflects the Attributes and Typical Work Products defined in the DoD EVMS Interpretation Guide (EVMSIG). Completion of all of the CRC sections is required for an initial compliance assessment of the contractor’s EVM SD. There are two related attachments for this BP, Attachment A is the EVMS CRC.
