Participants are taken through the pre- and post-contract award processes to establish performance measurement requirements. Emphasis is placed on the variables necessary for the establishment of meaningful subcontractor variance thresholds, analyzing subcontractor forecast data, and when/how to alert the customer to changes in funding or other needs. Subcontractor reporting is discussed in detail, providing insights into reporting formats, interpretation of the data elements, how subcontractors fit into the prime contract, and problem solving associated with reconciliation of reporting formats. This workshop provides an overview of the performance measurement requirements with specific focus on subcontractor management and integration. This includes requirements for subcontractor system acceptance and the review process. The impact of contract type is also included in the discussion. Case studies are used in this workshop to enhance learning objectives.
